About LERU.io

Breadboards, Builds and Bullseyes.

LERU.io is where I document the engineering projects, experiments and things I build in my spare time.

My professional career has moved from hands-on technology and engineering into project, program and technology leadership, but I've never stopped enjoying building things.

Outside work, I usually have several projects underway. They range from electronics, embedded systems and IoT to 3D printing, CNC machines, composites, archery equipment and practical workshop tools. Some are weekend projects; others evolve over several years.

Most start with a problem, a question, or simply the thought that there must be a better way to do this.

For me, the interesting part isn't only the finished result. It's the process: why I made certain decisions, what I tried, what failed, what changed and what I learned along the way.

You'll also find some of my older target-shooting and custom-rifle projects here. My sporting focus has since moved to archery, but those projects involved a lot of design, fabrication and experimentation that I still think is worth documenting.

LERU.io isn't intended to be a specialist publication about one technology or hobby. It's simply a place to document the things I find interesting enough to build, experiment with and understand. With me - what you see is what you get!

If something here helps with your own project — or gives you an idea for the next one — even better.

Welcome to LERU.io.
